Act 1:Scene 2 In this scene Edmund acknowledge that he is special and he has gifted ways. Although he was looked upon negative, being compare to a "lowlife", or talked upon being called a "bastard", he did not let that phase him. Showing that his belief was all that he needed. This showed me that despite the negative energy that is put out, it's up to you as a person to make something out of it. Act 1:Scene 3 In this scene Goneril shows her true intentions. She wants to dethrone her father so she can control the kingdoms and be entitled in the royal power she seeks. This shows me that not all people can be trusted and that the will of power will bring out the true colors of people.

   In Psalm 27, it discuses the  declaration of belief in the greatness of God and one should trust in the protection He provides . One can always follow the guidance given by Him.  He will always protect one from the wicked ways of the world. God will lead one down the path of light with guidance and protection, not leaving them alone, because God is always with all of his children. Verse 1 states, " The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid". This verse is stating that one should not fear the Lord as if he were death, but to fear to disrespect him. Believing the word of God will protect you from all evil and through good faith and respect all will be given to one by God.     In this chapter there are multiple sign of symbolism and metaphorical meanings.  Verse 5 states, "For in time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion...he shall set me upon a rock.". Infant Joy represents the celebration and happiness at the arrival of an innocent. Infant Sorrow is a poem that   rejection at the birth of an unwanted child. The precious infant is embracing his new lifeand surroundings, proclaiming to the world hisarrival of only two days before.

As a reader I have my strength and weakness. A strength I have is the ability to connect the words of literature to my own personal experience, but I also have a weakness. One of my biggest weakness when it comes to reading is procrastination. I sometimes tend to put off reading because I feel I have time. But time is not in my side and by the time I realize that it'll be too late. Reading serves an essential role in my education. It teaches me how to analyze and connect literature with real life situations. I personally like to read, but I prefer to read sci-fi, drama, or action novels But as I progressed through AP Language and Composition I learned that a true reader can connect to any novel. This a weakness that as a reader I have to overcome. Literature can be exciting but it is up to the reader if this statement is true.
