My Sonnet

Love the Unknown

 A feeling of unknown emotion
Lost in a battle of the heart the mind
Your heart bottled up as if was a majestic potion
The feeling of love is bitter sweet but also kind
Leaving a feeling so permanent and everlasting
The heart has no end
And when love leave, the mind feels like it is descending
My heart for you full of love which will never bend
Death may come and test the feeling of love
Wicked and scares following in the shadows
But death cannot be stopped like the wings of a dove
Death come, twisting emotions like a emotional tornado
Love is a feeling that can overpower the mind and soul
Floating around the mind like cereal in a vast emotional bowl

Review

The Great Gatsby is a story within a story showing readers the insight of the meaning of “new life”. The Great Gatsby is written by Francis Scott Fitzgerald and this novel was written in 1919. The genre of this novel is a romantic drama. The main characters are Jay Gatsby, Nick Carraway, Daisy Buchanan, Tom Buchanan, Jordan Baker. I like the back story about Jay Gatsby and his journey to wealth. I also liked the story behind Jay and Daisy, the romantic scandal gave a deeper feeling of the novel. If I would nominate an audience to read this I would choose high school students. I choose them because they’re young and this book Is full of “youngsters” living the time of their lives during the 1920s a time where the day was young and the night was a younger.

Day 13

Today is a day to celebrate and honor! I officially signed to Jacksonville State University amd cannot wait for fall. It took 5 hours to get there from Mobile but I feel it was worth it and the campus was beautiful and I fell in love with the robotics class and recreation center. I will be the first to go to a 4 year university and I am proud of myself. But this is not the end to tho journey of William Blake.

Day 15

Today was an okay day until band practice where reality hit me. Today was my last high school marching band practice. It seem just like yesterday it was my freshman year after homecoming week, i joined the band not knowing what to do, now I’m one the best chest tenors in the city!. I’m really going to miss this high school experience and the friendships and family bond I grew through band and I’m going out with a bang!
